Our Infrastructure Strategy and Design Team is pivotal to this mission, spearheading long-term planning for areas such as data center and network design, location strategy, circuit optimization, and networking fabric strategy. Acting as trusted financial advisors to our engineering teams, we deliver insightful analysis that shapes decisions for current and future cloud regions. 

 Your Role

As a Finance Analyst, you'll join a dynamic and high-performing team driving the financial strategy behind OCI's strategy and design decisions. You'll work at the intersection of technology and finance, analyzing the financial implications of networking fabric and data center designs. Your insights will guide forecasting, cost optimization, and long-range planning—making you a critical partner in shaping OCI's success.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance analyst supporting Cloud Infrastructure engineering.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver financial guidance for cutting-edge data center and network fabric designs.  
  • Create and maintain ROI models for emerging data center and fabric technologies, leveraging your understanding of the latest innovations.  
  • Connect long-term strategies to operational budgeting, ensuring visibility into how new designs impact annual plans and cost efficiencies.  
  • Enhance existing financial models to support accurate pricing/cost assessments in partnership with the Deals and Workload Health teams.  
  • Support multiple leaders across infrastructure engineering domains and their teams to become their trusted advisor.
  • Develop scenario-based financial and business models 
  • Perform competitive analysis, and/or cost modeling 
  • Link business strategy to financial reporting at various levels using KPIs, and goal setting
  • Drive policies and procedures that monitor and support the organization’s operational and business objectives

 PREFERRED SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

•             Bachelor’s degree

•             2-3 years of experience in a fast passed finance roles

•             Solid accounting understanding

•             Strong finance acumen and model building

•             Detail and process oriented

•             Experience with financial business processes

•             Good communication skills – can tell a story from data

•             Deep curiosity and desire to learn

•             Self-starter and curious

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $56,300 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
