Job Summary:

The F135 hardware Customer support engineer reports to the Military Customer Support and Services organization.  In this position, the  candidate provides important input to keep the F135 fleet flying, safe and support production as well.  The ideal candidate is a good communicator, a team player and someone who likes working for a dynamic growing domestic/international program.  The candidate will be working field, safety, reliability issues as well as supporting production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Guidance for Field Issues through answering of Domestic and International Action Requests.
  • Support updates to Joint Technical Data, the F135 engine manuals to support users.
  • Support Engineering Changes with respect to their affect to the flying customer
  • Provide Maintenance Awareness Briefings to domestic and international flying sites.
  • Support/Present Periodic Safety Reviews for safety issues, Reliability reviews for maintenance drivers.
  • Support our F135 Joint Program Office customer on issues.
  • Conduct Analytical Condition Inspections on hardware.
  • Partner with our Depot Customer Support Engineers
  • Qualified candidates must be able to communicate effectively and coordinate between a diverse team of individuals.  Strict attention to detail and internal & external customer satisfaction focused is required to ensure the team meets aggressive demands of military compliance programs. Comfortable executing under the pressures of a highly active environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree is required with 2+ years of relevant experience; or an Advanced degree
  • U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Military Jet engines.
  • Security clearance is a plus but not required.
  • Focus on results and the ability to drive tasks to completion
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working across functions, organizations and all levels of management
  • Problem-solving approach, initiative to continuous improvement principles (e.g. CORE)

  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
