What You Will Do
The CBM Lead role for the F135 Engine Core Upgrade (ECU) Program is focused on enabling on-condition inspection / maintenance from Day 1 of entry into service. The successful candidate will support coordination between the DPHM team and other engine IPTs and maintain efficient communication through regular schedule updates and communications at various levels of program and customer leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Product Safety, Certification and Validation (PSCV), Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) and CDS / EDSI teams to refine CBM requirements, work scope and schedule to meet program milestones.
- Ensure team has necessary resources to activate and mature CBM system
- Support planning and communication for each program milestone using JPO guidance and work with functional leads to complete updates and schedule reviews with JPO counterparts.
- Support agile planning and digital transformation activities for design integration function.
- Prioritize team focus to ensure critical milestones are met.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design, development and or test with a bachelor’s degree and 3 with an advanced degree
- US Person Status required due to government contracts.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in coordinating multiple organizations to deliver on schedule and on budget.
- Prior experience in systems integration or leading projects and/or integrated product teams (IPTs)
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- A track record of delivering results in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong ability to effectively communicate with customers and all levels of management is critical.
- Familiarity with F135 Controls and Diagnostics, Analytics, Sensor Data and processing techniques
- Experience working with military customers and being comfortable presenting to both military and PW leadership.
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance
