The mm-wave radar antenna architect will be part of a multi-disciplinary team driving forward the next generation of radiation concepts for mm-wave automotive radars. The role entails building technology vision on mm-wave antenna technologies for radar, translating vision into concepts and prototypes and bridging advanced product development for the product lines.
Your Responsibilities
Be responsible for the exploration, architecting, specification and the implementation of innovative mm-Wave radar antenna array concepts and antenna-IC interfaces in advanced antenna and packaging manufacturing technologies.
Exploring, assessing, specifying and shaping requirements for advanced technologies for mm-wave antenna concepts suitable for mass production.
Link antenna physical, packaging, and signal processing domains.
Translate customer requirements into workable antenna specifications.
Work with architects across other domains as a team for full system optimization.
Work with designers to bring a new concept from idea to high technology readiness for further deployment for production.
Work with partners and stay abreast of global technological advances in the field of mm-wave radar antennas and systems for automotive.
Coach students in universities.
Your profile
PhD degree in microelectronics, electronics engineering, physics or similar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience on RF/mmWave antennas for automotive products or related segment.
You feel at home being the link between a multi-disciplined team with mm-wave IC, Analog/Mixed-signal and Signal processing members.
Strong expertise in Electromagnetics and antenna’s industry standard EM design tools.
Solid understanding of advanced packaging manufacturing technologies and how antennas can be implemented in packages.

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity (between 32 and 38 hours) as well.
