On-Air Talent (Part-time)

WVTV-TV in Milwaukee has an exciting opportunity for a part-time, temporary, On-Air Talent position. We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and creative talent who can think and perform outside the box. Qualified candidates should possess strong on-air presentation skills, interpersonal communication and be highly organized, with experience in media and broadcast environments. You will have the opportunity to help generate and develop content for our socials and website too. 

  Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Appear on camera and conduct interviews
• Host on-air and digital video segments
• Engage with local community members
• Represent the station air for WVTV-TV
• Work closely with the Production team to identify and pitch segment ideas
• Stay up to date on events around the community
• Generate and develop content for our socials and website

Qualifications:

• Educational background or degree; experience in mass communications, journalism or a related media based major
• Strong organizational, written, verbal, and on camera communication skills
• Basic knowledge of video and audio production is a plus
• Basic knowledge of non-linear video editing is a plus
