Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will be a visionary Director, Experiential Marketing that will craft and deliver exceptional brand experiences that reflect the elegance, heritage, and aspiration of Wheels Up - From tentpole and lead generation events and bespoke activations to strategic partnerships and ambassador programs and high-touch moments, you will bring our brand to life in ways that captivate discerning audiences and deepen emotional resonance and drives lead generation.
Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Lead the strategy, concepting, and execution of elevated brand experiences — including VIP events, tentpole events, curated hospitality moments, and industry tradeshows.
- Develop, manage and execute experiential marketing and brand activation programs to connect with our customers
- Lead planning, budgeting, partner integration, on-site logistics, event hosting and post-event reconciliation
- Manage timelines and deadlines related to all aspects of events
- Manage all event related communications
- Translate brand values and storytelling into immersive environments that surprise, delight, and inspire
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure experiential marketing is integrated into broader brand, digital, and PR campaigns
- Manage high-profile external partners, including luxury venues, premium vendors, designers, and production teams
- Manage the event agency relationships
- Ensure flawless execution of every detail — from custom gifting to guest communications to on-site experience
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, vendors tastemakers, media, and industry partners through world-class experiences
- Track event ROI, customer feedback, and earned media value to continually refine strategy and impact
- Identify other brands that align and complement our short and long-term goals for potential event partnerships
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements
We’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do:
- 10+ years of experience in experiential marketing, luxury events, or brand activations for high-end clientele
- Strong background in crafting premium experiences across lifestyle, hospitality, or private aviation sectors
- Impeccable taste and creative sensibility paired with operational precision and poise under pressure
- Proven ability to engage high-net-worth individuals and deliver white-glove service standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; confident interfacing with executives, clients, and VIP guests
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to support luxury events and experiences globally

What We Offer: Salary Range & Benefits
At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The salary for this role ranges from $173,000/Yr. to $203,500/Yr., depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, which rewards individual and organizational performance.
