Senior Software Engineer - Java

Recently, FlowX secured the largest Series A funding round for enterprise software over the past two years.</p><h3><br/></h3><h3>Mission</h3><p>The core mission will be to contribute to the design and the building of the backend components on the FlowX.ai platform, in accordance with our product strategy and delivery standards. As a Backend developer you will work closely with all team members (Backend, Frontend, QA, PO, UX) and will be involved in all stages of building and improving the FlowX platform.</p><h3><br/></h3><h3>This is what you will be contributing to:</h3><ul> <li>Work in Java 11+ and Spring Boot primarily</li> <li>Grow our solution in an event-driven architecture using Kafka</li> <li>Use Elastic search to query massive amounts of data</li> <li>Store data using both SQL (Postgres, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases and cache it using Redis or in-memory cache</li> <li>Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design</li> <li>Support the team, especially when teammates are faced with new challenges</li> <li>Build a great user experience built on customer centricity</li> <li>Learn and develop new skills, things you don't have experience in yet</li> <li>Build extreme ownership and feel a great sense of accountability</li> <li>Work in an Agile environment</li> </ul><h3><br/></h3><h3>Skills &amp; Experience:</h3><ul> <li>5+ years of working with Spring Boot framework (Java or Kotlin)</li> <li>7+ years of working full-time as a software engineer</li> <li>Experience writing Integration Tests and Unit Tests</li> <li>Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes would be a real advantage</li> <li>Nice to have: experience with S3 compatible storage solutions</li> <li>Nice to have: experience in any functional language or Python</li> </ul><h3><br/></h3><h3>Here are examples of things we’ve worked on:</h3><ul> <li>Event driven microservices setup for both core engine and plugins used by thousands of clients in production</li> <li>BPMN process engine built from scratch</li> <li>Headless CMS with MongoDB</li> <li>Handling documents via S3 storage and generate files based on customizable templates</li> </ul><h3><br/></h3><h3>What's in it for you:</h3><ul> <li>Joining a product company in such early stages means you are invited to leave a print on the evolution of both the business and the product</li> <li>Involvement in international accounts throughout the expansion of the company</li> <li>Direct involvement in further building the team &amp; the culture</li> <li>Early-stage equity package to be considered</li> <li>Hybrid working environment</li> <li>Medical subscription and medical insurance</li> <li>25 vacation days</li> </ul><p></p><p>Location: Bucharest (hybrid)</p>
