Senior SW Engineer

<p><strong>CP Responsible for</strong></p> <p>• Cloud RAN R&amp;D Technology Ownership</p> <p>• Innovating, developing, productizing, delivering &amp; maintaining the best Edge Cloud O-RAN and Cloud RAN products to achieve a clear leadership position in Cloud Platforms and Applications</p> <p>• Successful execution of Cloud RAN Programs</p> <p>• Leverage open-source communities like OPNFV, O-RAN, OCP to achieve technology leadership</p> <p>• Achieve Business targets for CP HW and SW products</p> <p>• Productize and deliver Nokia data center HW and SW solutions (AirFrame, FHGW, SEP, OCP, NEAT, NADCM, RCP, NCIR) for Radio and RIC/MEC applications together with SW and HW partners and other BGs</p> <p>• Develop and deliver Cloud Platforms products and Cloud RAN solutions with best-in-class cycle times and total cost of ownership. Achieve cost targets within annual plan for OpEx and CapEx.</p> <p> </p> <p>As a SW Engineer in new CP team, your role would include:</p> <ul> <li> Implementation of the features and ensuring successful integration of software components within own domain based on product backlogs and specifications</li> <li> Planning and organizing the work as part of global SW development teams</li> <li> Creating and maintaining the platform, DevOps, enabling continuous integration (Docker and Python)</li> <li> Testing (unit, component, and integration)</li> <li> Interface adaptation, testing and troubleshooting tool development (python), build time optimization, maintaining good SW practices</li> <li> Assessing software quality and developing test tools to increase test effectiveness and efficiency </li> <li> Proposing and participating internal improvement projects, initiatives and task forces if needed​</li> <li> Contributing to evolution of internal processes with target for continuous efficiency increase of development teams</li> <li>Feature implementation (C/C++ and/or modern languages)</li> <li>Code optimization</li> </ul> <p>Although a combination of Cellular system knowledge, Cloud computing &amp; infrastructure knowledge as well as software development is highly appreciated, we encourage you to apply if you have good skills, knowledge, and interest in any of the areas mentioned above.
