Sr. IT Business Analyst - Sales & Marketing

 

 

Dorman Products, a nearly $2B global supplier of aftermarket motor vehicle parts with 3,500+ Contributors and 28 sites across the globe, is looking to add a Sr. IT Business Analyst to our team. The Sr. IT Business Analyst will join a growing IT team that is delivering innovative solutions to support Dorman Products' significant business growth plans within the rapidly changing automotive industry. We are seeking an IT professional with experience in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience solutions and business process optimization. You will work with cross functional teams to identify sales process optimization opportunities and will translate them into a defined set of new people, process, and systems related requirements. As a Sr. IT Business Analyst with Dorman, you will collaborate with both business partners and the IT technical team to ensure the overall solution is well designed, planned, tested, and executed. This is a hybrid role with the expectation to come into our corporate office in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) at least once a week.

 

Primary Duties

• Lead as-is versus to-be process analysis and documentation efforts with cross-functional teams.
• Elicit and document required business process, organizational and systems requirements for the to-be process. 
• Work with business and technical teams to define scope, approach, and timeline to deliver the to-be process.  
• Document final solution requirements and support detailed solution design, testing, training, and implementation efforts.
• Administer key projects tasks including coordination of team meetings and creation of appropriate project documentation.

 

Qualifications/ Experience / Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Customer Experience, or a related field.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience
• Held previous sales system business analysis and portfolio management positions in a consumer products, manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Track record of growth in roles that focus on relationship management and coordination between business stakeholders and IT resources handling both incident and project level initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in process evaluation and improvement.
• Background in larger enterprise sales and reporting solutions including Salesforce, SAP, AWS, Power BI, Qlik, Business Objects or equivalent.
• Proven business analysis and portfolio management skills and significant exposure to sound system implementation methodologies and practices. 
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to translate complex information into comprehensive and concise business terms. 
• Ability to build business relationships with both technical and business people in order to foster collaboration in delivering IT solutions to business initiatives / issues.
• Ability to think strategically and stay current on industry specific trends, analyze situations and data, and to identify business and technical solution opportunities.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated, independent contributor with the ability to learn new business areas, tools and concepts quickly.
