Job Description: 

As a SkillBridge fellow at Accenture Federal Services (AFS) within our Special Operations Division, you will have the opportunity to utilize skills honed in active-duty service in a technologically advanced environment that supports and encourages continuous learning.  The Special Operations division specializes in building a robust architecture that supports the fusion of Intelligence and Operations for the modern battlefield. We accomplish this through agile development processes, modern technologies, and the incorporation of security into every node. A major focus for Special Operations is the Automated Information Discovery Environment, or AIDE. This Government Purpose Rights Platform consists of over a dozen web services and is a Program of Record for FMV PED and Mission Command to several organizations. 

Under the framework of the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge Program, AFS hosts active-duty U.S. military members for skilled employment training for up to the final six months of active-duty obligated service.  Any rank, enlisted or officer, may apply for SkillBridge. SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from AFS, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members. Your unit Commander must authorize participation in Accenture Federal Services' SkillBridge Program prior to the start of the internship.

Eligibility: 

  • Has served at least 180 days on active duty
  • Is within 180 days of separation or retirement
  • Will receive an honorable discharge
  • Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS
  • Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months
  • Has received Unit Commander approval to participate in the DoD SkillBridge Program

Duration:

  • 8-24 weeks

Security Clearance:

  • Must be eligible for a USG clearance
  • Some positions will require an active Secret, Top Secret or SCI to start
