This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Atlantic Fields, set outside of Hobe Sound, FL.

Atlantic Fields is seeking a Racquets Attendant (Pickleball/Padel) to join the Wellness Department.

The Racquets Attendant will help maintain the court areas to ensure optimal cleanliness and maintained appearance. The Attendant will assist members and their guests while in the court and facilities areas, and clean equipment as necessary. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure all courts, lounge areas, and amenities are perfectly prepared and guest-ready.
• Set up, stock, and maintain amenity stations throughout the day.
• Complete all opening/closing duties and daily or weekly side work.
• Clean and care for pickleball, tennis, and padel equipment to keep it in top condition.
• Maintain spotless courts and lounge areas during operating hours.
• Keep stations organized and clutter-free for a polished member experience.
• Attend daily briefings, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions to stay informed and aligned with service standards.
• Assist teammates with inventory, restocking, and waste disposal.

Member Related
• Greet members and guests warmly, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Assist with game setup, scorekeeping, and basic instruction for all racquet sports.
• Anticipate member needs—refresh towels, adjust seating or shade, and replenish amenities without being asked.
• Encourage participation in social and competitive play, fostering community on the courts.
• Share knowledge about racquet sports, upcoming events, and club amenities to enhance the member experience.
• Build rapport with members and families, remembering their preferences to personalize service.
• Ensure the safety and enjoyment of members during all racquet sport activities.

Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Additional degrees and certifications preferred.
• Current first aid, CPR, and other safety certifications.
• Prior experience in luxury resorts, spas, or private clubs, preferred.
• Prior pickleball, tennis and padel experience, preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
