Dexcom’s U.S. 12-week internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our onsite, hybrid, and remote work models ensure that we can invite diverse and talented intern classes from across the country. Interns will have the chance to gain knowledge and develop their skills while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. • Team Highlights: The San Diego Innovation Center Process Engineering Department is responsible for improving performance of manufacturing processes for Dexcom’s current and next generation products. We are very involved in various projects through design life cycle of a product, such as developing new products/processes, deploying improved iterations of current manufacturing process into production and ensuring compliance with regulatory rules and regulations that govern Dexcom’s manufacturing and products. We use various tools to accomplish our projects, such as risk assessments, process validation, process verification, process monitoring, and various project planning/management tools. We value cross functional collaboration across Dexcom’s organizations (R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Quality, etc) to bring new ideas and continuous improvement. We are looking for a talented and motived future engineer to join our team. 

Where you come in:

• You should have a strong background in engineering with a keen interest in process/manufacturing engineering.  

• You will be responsible for various tasks including:

• Root cause analysis

• Process improvement/troubleshooting

• Process capability studies

• Simple fixture/tooling design

• Equipment qualification development and execution

What makes you successful:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders such as managers and team members across the organization. 

• Familiar with the following software: 

• Lucid/Visio (creating process flow charts) 

• Smartsheets/Microsoft Project (organization of deliverables within a project) 

• <
