Applied Materials’ RF Center Of Excellence is searching for an intern to join our team in summer - fall 2024! We are seeking a driven and highly motivated engineering student with strong communication and time management skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. The position will entail the following:
 

 Responsibilities

  • Document and drive DFX (Design for Excellence) changes to new products

  • Assist engineers in prototyping and testing new designs

  • Design and build fixtures for production and testing

  • Operate and maintain 3D printers to create prototypes and parts

Requirements

  • Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

  • Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Experience with CAD software and 3D printing a plus

  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative

Compensation

$28 - 36 per hour

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
