The External Logistics Data & Development Analyst is responsible for data and development management for logistics core processes including but not limited to: Customs (Import and Export) Control, Transport Logistics Operation, heavy and specialized transport, Cost control and process improvement.
This position will also function as the liaison with other departments involved in the implementation of tools, resources, software and solutions, as well as the integration, compilation, maintenance and validation of integral data and information used under the responsibility of External Logistics (i.e.: Purchasing, Spare Parts, Internal Logistics, Engineering, IT). This position will coordinate with these departments to ensure the optimal and efficient handling and processing of the data streams and intersecting communication points while ensuring data management standards are in place.
This position is responsible for the identification of high-risk data (i.e. Harmonized tariff codes (HTC), Country of Origin (COO), Shipment and Invoice data points) and collaboration with internal departments and personnel or external experts for the appropriate validation and maintenance methodologies to comply with Regulatory and legal requirements as well as LIN /TLC / MIN standards.
This position is responsible for conducting analysis of patterns, impacted processes, nonconformances, bottlenecks, solution deficiencies and determining how to make data and developments more accurate, reliable, transparent and available and presenting improvement suggestions to management.
Responsibilities
- Data Integrity analysis, Evaluation of data and communication flow in relation to process flow by usage, supply chain stage and stakeholders for risk identification and optimization.
- Supports Process Improvement Analyst in development of data management methodologies and tools to pair with Procedural improvements to ensure complete risk mitigation.
- Creates, Validates and maintains data visualization structures to provide stakeholder visibility to key information across core logistics processes.
- Creates, Validates and maintains system-based communication workflows for logistics process intersections to ensure consistent transparency and visibility by logistics core process stage.
- Creates, Validates and maintains system-based high risk data management escalation, approval and traceable data integrity environment in support of all logistics core processes with emphasis on customs control data (import and export) in compliance with LIN /TLC / MIN standards.
- Creates, Validates and maintains External Logistics databases (internal or external data sources).
- Creates, Validates and maintains External Logistics and MIN ELS SharePoint portals, forms and other respective developments.
- Maintains External Logistics Server files and documents to defined Data integrity and document retention standards.
- Coordinates with internal and External personnel and Business partners to obtain, validate and maintain all required information whether data, documentation or other information.
- Coordinates with internal and External personnel and Business partners for the implementation, development, maintenance and evaluation of software, solutions and projects for all core logistics processes.
Competencies
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics or relatable degree, or equivalent combination of education with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or a Master degree with 1-2 year of relevant experience.
- Working Knowledge of SharePoint, Nintex, SQL.
- High level knowledge of Power BI, Excel, etc.
- High level of data management and data analysis.
- Knowledge of Data flow between Liebherr systems: ZTS, LISSY, ERP LN, Web based BI portals.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, PowerBI, etc.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts of algebra and geometry to derive dimensions and weights needed to optimize the distribution chain.
