Job Summary/Basic Function
Provide routine administrative and clerical support to the Director of the MTSU Farm Laboratories. Essential tasks include: serve as the department’s primary contact; maintain and reconcile purchasing card receipts, purchase authorizations forms, and purchase order receipts; compose correspondence and informational materials; maintain office and project files; maintain databases and database equipment; process student and temporary worker time sheets; and perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Education
High school diploma or high school equivalency required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Related Experience
Three (3) years progressively responsible administrative, clerical, or office management experience required.
Note: an Associate’s degree (two years of college coursework) and one year related experience may be considered in lieu of work experience.
Required License/Registration/Certification
Valid TN Drivers License
Desirable Related Experience
Farm, livestock or general knowledge of agriculture desired.
