Summary:
The Cell Test Validation Engineer II is responsible for Design and develop test method and write test script using equipment user interfaces. Other responsibilities include collecting and analyzing Big Data through different analytical and statistical software.
Responsibilities:
- Execute cell level testing, operate test equipment, interpret, and validate results, summarize data and prepare reports.
- Create and write test scripts and procedures for automated control of tests using equipment user interfaces.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy with data science tools and techniques, including programming (Python, R, etc.)
- Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches.
- Assist in the development and construction of new test equipment and instrumentation.
- Develop, write, and maintain operating and safety procedures for testing cells.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair equipment as needed.
- Originate, manage, and execute cell tests activities with outside labs.
- Perform equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Make, repair, and reconfigure test leads and connectors.
- Optimize equipment usage in dynamic environment.
- Perform data validation, documentation, storage, and retrieval.
- Support other departments and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Data analysis, Engineering, etc.)
Experience:
- Laboratory or research experience preferred
- Experience with statistical analysis, DOE, data analysis software
- Prior programming experience in a high-level programming language such as Python or MATLAB
Skills:
- Programming Language (C/C++, Labview, Python, R, Matlab and Simulink)
- Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills, willingness to gain and share new knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Positive attitude, eager to learn and ability to change direction quickly.
