Position Overview:

Are you looking for an opportunity to immerse yourself in business strategy, support the business intelligence activities of a data-driven sales team, and are eager to empower teams to use data effectively? If so, you will have the chance to contribute to all this and more with Seller Engagement’s Business Strategy & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to be able to leverage data and apply it to our business including Freddie Mac’s products and offerings to drive insights that help us advance our goals.  Furthermore, the candidate will be detail-oriented to produce executive-level reporting, manage the data needs of a large sales organization, and identify gaps and/or discrepancies in data and processes and partner to find solutions. This unique role will work closely with business partners across multiple organizations and have a hands-on role in shaping the business intelligence approach and strategy.

Single Family Seller Engagement is the hub for the rest of the organization that works internally to engage with external Sellers and partners to demonstrate and provide mutual value.

Your Impact:

As a part of the Business Strategy & Analytics team, we are responsible for equipping the entire Seller Engagement organization with the tools and processes to be successful across all goals and objectives. The Business Intelligence (BI) role within the team is especially integral to the organization as data is at the heart of all decisions that we make and the ability to effectively integrate data from our products and offerings into our business will empower our senior leadership team to make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree or equivalent experience; work towards advanced studies/degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of demonstratable work experience integrating data/analytics into business processes including development of reporting tools, executive reporting, and more.

  • Familiarity with mortgage origination processes and the ability to learn about Freddie Mac’s products and offerings and the data these produce

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting

  • Proven proficiency in designing solutions that meet the organization’s needs (i.e. formulating reporting requirements that can be implemented to drive strategy and decision-making)

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, timelines, and resources efficiently.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, cleanup, and reporting.

  • Proficiency with utilizing Tableau as a reporting tool including understanding the capabilities within Tableau.
