We have a full-time position available for enthusiastic, motivated and experienced administration clerk to join our dynamic operating theatre bookings team!
Joining our team in this opportunity will see you provide comprehensive administrative and customer focused service to our surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, staff and secretaries. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless patient health journey as well as the following key responsibilities (but are not limited to):
- All bookings and administrative duties related to the Operating Theatre
- Coordinating all requirements for surgeon’s theatre list
- Administrative support to our theatre complex and scheduling team
- Effectively support all clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospital
Your Skills and Experience
- Previous administrative experience in a hospital/medical setting desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and health funds highly regarded
- A professional and personable disposition
- Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Willingness to learn and the ability to grasp concepts with ease
- Experience using Meditech is an advantage
- A professional phone manner with experience managing incoming and outgoing calls
- Excellent customer service skills
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly rate of $32.44+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clerical EA Grade 3 Yr1

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
