Position Summary

The Concessions Stand Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations within an assigned concession stand. This role ensures efficient workflow, accurate inventory management, food safety compliance, and excellent customer service while providing leadership and support to stand staff.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$20.00 and is tip eligible

About the Venue

Liberty First Credit Union Arena is an indoor arena located in the Ralston/Omaha, Nebraska area. The 200,000 sq. ft. arena can accommodate up to 4,400 patrons and hosts 350,000+ attendees at upwards of 150 concerts, sporting events, family shows, and other events every year. The arena is home to the USHL Omaha Lancers Hockey team and the NAL Omaha Beef Football team. The arena is just two miles from the interstate and attracts concert goers from a 100-mile radius.

Responsibilities

  • Count, track, and manage inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Follow and manage cooking projections to minimize waste and meet demand.
  • Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to stand workers throughout the shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stand at all times.
  • Ensure all health department guidelines and food safety standards are followed.
  • Verify that all stand processes and closing/opening procedures are completed correctly.
  • Operate and troubleshoot computer systems, including point-of-sale systems and coupon processing.
  • Assist with training and mentoring new employees.
  • Work closely with and follow direction from the supervisor and management team.
  • Lead by example to promote teamwork, efficiency, and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Alcohol certification required.
  • Previous food service or concessions experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
