This position offices in-person, on campus

ROLE SUMMARY

The Concessions Lead supports the Campus Operations Coordinator to ensure that Valor Varsity-level sports provide an exceptional concessions experience for the Valor Athletic community and their opponents. The Concessions Lead is also responsible for coordinating and training Valor groups to run the concession stands.

Primary Responsibilities

●       Support Campus Operations Coordinator in maintaining and building a strong database of volunteers within the Valor Community by promoting the opportunity to Valor clubs, sports teams, Discovery teams, and groups.

●       Train and support volunteers to independently run concessions, including opening procedures, food handling safety guidelines, POS training, and closing procedures.

●       Ensure each concessions venue is stocked, clean, machines are in good working order, and that volunteers are set up for success for each shift.

●       Maintain an accurate Square Inventory. Inventory concessions items and submit orders to the Campus Operations Coordinator in a timely manner. Restock items as they arrive and update online inventory.

●       Support the Valor Football Home Game events through onsite management of the home side of concessions, visitor concessions, and mobile ordering.

Secondary Responsibilities 

●        Act as the main point of contact for volunteers in terms of operational issues or concerns.

●        Report any necessary equipment needs, maintenance requests, cleaning schedules, and feedback to improve processes.

●        Work with the Campus Operations Coordinator to create and maintain training guidelines and procedures.

●        Work with Eagle’s Nest to handle inventory and sales of merchandise through concessions.
