GBS MDM Global Director - Decatur, IL
This is a full-time, exempt position.

• The GBS Global Master Data Management (MDM) Director is accountable for managing GBS for MDM activities including:
• Operational activities
  • • Overseeing global ADM and outsourced teams responsible for operational activity regarding master data-related requests regarding party (customer and vendor).
    • Identifying and correcting inaccurate, duplicate, or inconsistent data across systems, including data cleansing and normalization processes. 
    • Managing and maintaining the MDM platform, including configuration, user access control, and data workflow management. 
    • Defines and manages the SLAs between the GBS retained organization and BPO provider, and manages the BPO provider to the contractual terms.
    • Supports master data activities that impact critical R2R activities, including intersegment and intercompany transactions.
    • Owns and reports on GBS MDM KPIs and SLAs
• Implementing new, end-to-end service delivery models for customer and vendor.
• Partnering with Global Technology’s data & analytics team to align on
  • Data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulations. 
    • Cross referencing and/or Integrating data from multiple sources into a centralized master data repository, ensuring consistency and alignment across systems. 
    • Implementing monitoring mechanisms to track data quality metrics and identify potential data issues proactively. 
• Managing the MDM Party Product Owner who serves as the voice of the business and drives end-to-end processes and solutions supporting the build-out of customer and vendor data as well as the 1ADM MDM Release 6 Product Lead who contributes and provides guidance to the team through implementation of the processes and systems with an overall objective to keep the business engaged.
• Aligning with GBS leadership on GBS-wide improvement initiatives and drive a continuous improvement mindset within the MDM team, identify and driving productivity projects within the migrated processes while also supporting projects that are interdependent with other GBS towers
• Work with GBS Continuous Improvement team to use lean continuous improvement to identify opportunities through value stream mapping, data and analytics, and automation.  Work with cross-functional team to propose strategies, influence buy-in, garner commitment and define the roadmaps needed to successfully implement initiatives that will improve service quality, standardize, simplify and improve processes, reduce waste and optimize operating costs.
• Supports transition of master data activities into GBS that are in scope for GBS service delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree

• 10+ years of finance experience
• Experience with finance operations in a shared-service or GBS model preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience
• Prior experience in managing multiple projects at one time and strong data analytics
• Visualization and communication skills (to a wide range of audiences both technical and non-technical) is required
• Result-oriented, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Strong change management, collaboration and influencing skills.
