The core responsibilities of this role include:

To provide guidance and coordination of the non-exempt Inventory Control and Quality Teams daily activities.  Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records relative to the client service level agreement.  Will directly support a specific quality assurance program and quality control activities in support of site compliance of the DHL Quality Management System and customer and regulatory requirements. The Operations Supervisor will assist site Inventory Control, Quality and Operations Leadership and Operations Peers in assessing picking and inventory inaccuracies and recommending corrective action necessary to support continuous process improvement and operational excellence.

• Ensure customer inventory control accuracy and shrink contractual requirements / service level agreements are monitored and reported timely to site leadership
• Maximize the performance of the site inventory processes and system to ensure: Care, custody, and control of customer inventory; Accuracy (to floor and customer book); Proper utilization of information technology
• Provide required documentation to customer, customer’s financial statement auditor or appropriate regulatory auditor in support of compliance requirements
• Supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of the overall quality system or a specific procedure, including management review, CAPA management, internal quality audits, quality self-assessments, change control, document control, and standard operating procedures/work instructions.
• Provide support on key regulatory, customer and 3rd party audits.
• Track, monitor, and report quality assurance metrics for the site.
• Monitor the training and development of site associates to ensure compliance to processes and regulations
• Be a customer point of contact for QA related issues/initiatives as assigned.
• Partner with IC/QA management to develop, distribute and maintain regular management reports.
• Meet regulatory requirements relevant to their operations on a daily basis
• Ensure customer service and business standards requirements are met daily
• Ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for associates
• Conduct associate performance reviews, individual development plans and succession plans
• Ensure company policies are communicated, administered, and enforced at appropriate levels
• Ensure associates have proper training and access to the necessary tools to perform their assigned tasks

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• Some knowledge and/or experience in IC/QA, preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan, WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc. required

Operations Supervisor - Distribution

The Operations Supervisor role has a national salary range of $62,500 - $70,000.

For roles within California the range is $68,640 - $82,200 and Washington is $77,968 - $82,000.
