Your Career

Joining the Prisma Cloud QA team as Principal Software Development in Test opens up opportunities for you to lead testing efforts for security-focused software, and involving in product design. You will have the opportunity to build the testing strategy for a comprehensive feature to ensure the compliance with security standards, and collaborate with development teams to enhance the product quality. Additionally, you will also grow in the aspect of overseeing security testing processes, mentoring team members and contributing to the overall cybersecurity posture of the organization.

Your Impact

• You will be driving the test design and strategy for high profit and priority features
  • Design and develop test plans and test strategies for complex new features
  • Overcome the challenges of longevity test strategy for the complex Cloud Enterprise product
  • Handle the complexity of Cloud platform and test data design
• You need to design, implement and continuously improve on test automation efficiency and increase the testing team’s productivity
  • Provide a consistent, standardized, and a standard methodology approach in developing testing automation across scrum teams by team members
  • Design, develop and maintain test automation tool/utilities involving in Backend & UI
  • Define, develop and maintain complex testbed environments
  • Build test automation frameworks that is easy to develop scripts, robust, supports variety of reporting, easy to troubleshoot failures, integrates with bug tracking systems and works easily with CI/CD for cloud-based products
• You will be involved in the product decision making conversation to provide the inside of product quality, leading and influencing the quality of cutting edge cybersecurity product
  • Analyze the complex defects/issues, and provide guidance to isolate root cause found during and after software release
  • Take a leading role in ongoing process enhancements and software testing practices
  • Drive improvements on functionality, usability, testability, performance and production stability of the applications and systems along with architect
  • Work closely with the engineering group, Product Management teams, UX, Doc, DevOps, Customer engineers, etc during product development from requirement to release
  • Define the process for building up bi-directional feedbacks to the customers
• You are expected to lead the team as an example
  • Mentor and coach other junior team members
  • Participate in the team hiring process and interview
  • Effective both verbal and written communication

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 8+ years experience in Enterprise software testing
• Proficient in programming, e.g. Python, Java
• Experience in leading the product testing for distributed system and SaaS product
• Very strong technical skills, including troubleshooting skills, test tooling, test automation
• Very strong test design skills for the complex system
• Excellent on collaboration and great team player 
• Experience in working on backend and frontend test framework/tools and continuous improvements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
