<p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>Job Summary </strong></p><p>Keyrus is looking for a <strong><strong>Senior Data Engineer</strong>.</strong> We value individuals who are detail-oriented, independent contributors with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring that together, we continue to transform possibilities into reality. </p><p>This position is Hybrid in Porto. </p><p><em><strong>Note</strong>: All applications/CV’s must be submitted in English.</em></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul>
<li>
<strong></strong>Design and develop high-performance data pipelines (ETL) to feed a Data Warehouse, utilizing state-of-the-art data engineering techniques in accordance with business specifications.</li>
<li>Implement flow automation through CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the efficient end-to-end release of artefacts across different environments.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain data models and schemas, providing architectural guidance and recommendations in alignment with best practices for traditional Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.</li>
<li>Provide user support for Dataiku, assisting with implementing best practices to enhance data handling and analytics capabilities.</li>
<li>Offer coaching and guidance to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous development.</li>
<li>Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.</li>
</ul><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>Requirements for the role</strong> </p><ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</li>
<li>
<strong>Minimum of 5 years</strong> of professional experience as a Data Engineer.</li>
<li>
<strong>Strong proficiency in SQL</strong>, with demonstrated expertise in <strong>MS SQL’s T-SQL</strong>, including developing SQL Common Table Expressions (CTEs), window functions, and robust queries.</li>
<li>Proven experience in implementing <strong>Data Warehouses</strong> following a traditional BI architecture (ODS -> DWH -> DTM -> Tableau).</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with <strong>data analytics ETL</strong> tools such as Apache Nifi and Dataiku (preferred).</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with <strong>data visualization tools,</strong> including dashboard development and tool administration (<strong>Tableau, Power BI </strong>and/or <strong>Qlik</strong>).</li>
<li>Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python (preferred).</li>
<li>Familiarity with implementing <strong>CI/CD</strong> pipelines and flow automation.</li>
<li>Previous experience with data migration projects is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong ability to communicate complex information clearly, organizing it in a visual and structured manner tailored to different stakeholders.</li>
<li>Proactive mindset.</li>
<li>Comfort with handling multiple priorities efficiently.</li>
