Director Vascular Global Market Development is a hybrid marketing and business development role responsible for the global acceleration of growth in the vascular market space. You are part of our Biomedical team and will actively drive the global vascular business for DSM Biomedical, identify commercial opportunities in targeted growth regions and therapeutic indications, develop and nurture partner relationships, and define and execute a strategic marketing plan, specifically concerning the business development of the vascular market. The position reports into Sr. Director, Global Marketing & Global Excellence.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop relevant and differentiating value propositions in the vascular market (cardiovascular, peripheral vascular and neurovascular) and in the development of a customer portfolio in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries, working directly with key leaders
• Actively engage with customers, develop a commercial pipeline and work collaboratively with the global team
• In collaboration with the Biomaterials Directors, Applications Development Technical Services team and the global Marketing team to assess across the multiple biomaterials offerings how to advance and enhance the overall market space, gain market share build the brand and portfolio strategy and define and develop impactful marketing campaigns
• Align growth strategies with Innovation, ADTS, and Commercial Development Managers/Directors as the market segment expands
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix (Commercial, Operations, Innovation, Legal, Finance) to make the right decisions for the Vascular portfolio and sales optimization

 

This position can be in a home office in the continental US.  Access to a hub airport is needed.  Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided.   Salary $154,700-$193,400

You bring

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing, Product Management and/or Product Marketing; with at least 7 years of experience in the vascular market in the medical device industry
• A “commercial sense” and a quick study mentality, providing keen insights into unmet clinical market needs
• Experience in the development and implementation of successful brand management strategies
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse functions and team members with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Subject matter expert in structural heart, cardiovascular, peripheral vascular and neurovascular
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
