Forklift Technician – Pasadena, MD

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Technician to join our Pasadena team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of forklifts and material handling equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure all repairs meet company and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose      equipment malfunctions on forklifts and other material handling equipment      that are broken down or not operating to company standards.
• Perform      comprehensive repairs including brakes, hydraulics, fuel systems,      transmissions, engines, and electrical systems.
• Conduct      routine and preventative maintenance checks to ensure customer compliance      with OSHA and company standards.
• Utilize      strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical      issues efficiently.
• Maintain      a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
• Communicate      effectively with customers and team members regarding service updates and      equipment status.

Requirements

 Requirements:

• Active      driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
• Extensive      experience working on forklift repairs, including hydraulic,      mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Basic      knowledge of LP (liquid propane) systems and electrical components.
• Strong      diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Self-starter      with excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Ability      to work independently and in a team environment.
