Analyst, Market Data

<p>Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks an Analyst to join our Market Data team.</p> <p>The Analyst will report to Tower’s Global Market Data Manager. They will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders on a variety of tasks.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyzing existing market data agreements with a focus on exchange/vendor reporting requirements, entity coverage, and audit documentation</li> <li>Liaising with Trading teams on allocation questions and requirements gathering for new products</li> <li>Engaging in negotiations with market data vendors, exchanges, and index providers</li> <li>Assisting with monthly exchange/vendor reporting and allocations</li> <li>Liaising with Support teams (Legal, Operations, Core Engineering, etc.) on a regular, operational basis</li> <li>Enhancing and automating existing processes for operational efficiency</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market data and will have experience in the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>Negotiating with vendors both in terms of acquiring new data sets and managing contract renewals</li> <li>Monthly exchange reporting and entitlement controls</li> <li>Expense control, product rationalization, and internal cost allocation</li> <li>Exchange audits and contractual reporting obligations</li> <li>Interacting with vendors to analyze new product offerings</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <p>While we work hard, Tower’s cubicle-free workplace, jeans-clad workforce, and well-stocked kitchens reflect the premium the firm places on quality of life.
