The Opportunity  

This position works out of our Pleasanton location in the Heart Failure division. In Abbott’s Heart Failure (HF) business, we’re developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. 

The Commodity Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing and procurement strategies for assigned commodities within the Heart Failure division. This role ensures continuity of supply while driving key performance metrics such as quality, delivery, cost, diversity, and sustainability. The Commodity Manager acts as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers, driving the “One Procurement” model and delivering value
