• Handles the development of commodity or category sourcing strategies, ensuring the suppliers are capable of meeting AR/Wearable's current and future technical and business requirements.
• Involve in the RFQ process, and driving final supplier selection in partnership with Electrical Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional partners.
• Responsible for supplier selection criteria, evaluating alternative suppliers.
• Utilizing
  contingency plans to de-risk technical challenges, long lead time, single source, Cost challenges and any supply issue.
• Develops Checks and Balances to optimize schedule flexibility while minimizing excess inventory exposure.
• Collaborate with MPMs (Material program managers) to resolve any part shortages which affect production schedules.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Supply Chain, Engineering, Management, or related field
• Completion of one graduate-level coursework, research project or internship must include experience in the following:
• 1. Material management and CTB (Clear to Build)
• 2. Supplier evaluation/selection, Should Cost models, contract negotiation and supply base management
• 3. Related fields associated with ICs, semiconductor, Board Electricals
• 4. Semiconductor fabs, foundry management, backend and testing
• 5. Long term Supplier Strategy by focusing on Technical roadmap and Supply chain Expansion
• 6. Calculate Should Cost and negotiate with suppliers cost deals for NPI programs

$148,530/year to $157,520/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
