Commercial HVAC Mechanics

Description

 Coastal Mechanical is currently looking for a dependable and experienced Commercial HVAC Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC systems and possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and be fluent in the English language. Our Commercial HVAC Mechanic will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various HVAC systems in commercial buildings. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and great benefits.

Requirements

  

- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems including but not limited to air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration units

- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC system issues and provide appropriate recommendations for repairs or replacements

- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely

- Respond to service calls and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner

- Keep accurate record of all repairs and maintenance performed on HVAC systems

- Communicate with clients regarding the status of their HVAC systems and provide recommendations for preventive maintenance and upgrades

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and ensure client satisfaction

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial HVAC Mechanic

- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repairs

- Professional HVAC certifications (e.g. EPA, NATE) are preferred but not required

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols

Essential Functions:

· Climbing up and down ladders

· Push, pull and frequently carry objects as tools, materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. –

· Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. – Stand and walk for long periods of time. –

· See and hear well with or without correction to avoid safety hazards to themselves and others.

· Overtime and weekend availability, regular attendance

· Work in heat and various other weather conditions

· Possible travel to current job sites within Florida
