About Houston

 

ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team

 

As a Commercial Portfolio Manager - LCS working within the Environmental & Property Solutions (E&PS) organization at ExxonMobil, you will be a part of world class teams and gain hands-on experience and skills working on projects that create an impact.

What you will do

 

• Lead the commercial strategy, design, and execution of complex land acquisitions to enable Low Carbon Solution capital projects in a fast-paced environment
• Manage cross-functional project teams and internal endorsement process
• Manage respective E&PS portfolio budget and steward land-related spend for LCS 
• Work with Law to review title and surveys, and execute various real estate agreements, such as option agreements, purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, and lease buyouts
• Work with other technical functions across Global Projects and LCS to advance projects and various commercial agreements
• Provide consistent and comprehensive updates to Americas Business Manager and present quarterly to Global Manager
• Job may include travel 

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 15 years of commercial real estate transactional experience with a proven history of negotiating surface land transactions
• Applicants must have excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills and deliver results in a performance-driven and team-oriented environment

 

Preferred Qualifications 
 

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• 20 years of commercial real estate transactional experience with a proven history of negotiating surface land transactions
• Effective negotiation, advocacy and influencing skills
• Strong critical thinking skills; ability to exercise business judgement/make sound decisions
• Detail-oriented and capable of producing results in time-constrained situations
• Adaptable to changing business needs and requests
