Job Description

The Sr. Manager, Human Resources is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR leadership, direction, and expertise for the Advertising & Partnerships organization within the Media Group. In collaboration with the Director, Human Resources, this person will provide day-to-day client support and strategic HR solutions for the Enterprise, Marketing and Communications team.

This role will partner closely with business leaders in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, change management, employee coaching, compensation strategies, succession planning, training & development, rewards & recognition, organizational effectiveness, and employee communication. This role requires the ability to operate confidently with senior corporate executives while also staying closely connected to the day‑to‑day needs of a fast‑paced employee population.

Here You Can:

  • Drive key HR initiatives including but not limited to staffing, performance management, compensation strategies, succession planning, training and development, rewards & recognition, recruitment and retention, organizational effectiveness, and employee communication.
  • Partner with leadership team to align and execute HR strategies in support of business initiatives.
  • Understand dynamics and key business priorities of client groups to provide coaching to business leaders on effectively managing and leading their organizations.
  • In partnership the HR Director, guide leaders through organizational restructures, partnering on design, communication planning, and seamless execution.
  • Develop and implement change management plans.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, reasonable accommodation requests, and workplace concerns.
  • Conduct thorough, timely, and objective employee investigations, ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Work with managers and talent acquisition on recruitment and retention of internal and external talent.
  • Mentor and coach junior HR Business Partners, providing guidance, support, and development to strengthen HR capabilities across the team.
  • Uncover, assess and propose opportunities for strategic improvements. 
  • Lead special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Here You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study.
  • 5+ years relevant HR experience including employee relations, organizational development, performance management and salary planning.
  • 2+ years in an HRBP Manager role preferred.
  • 2+ years independently managing complex employee relations matters, including investigations and sensitive workplace issues.
