What You Will Do:

The Senior Quality Engineer will play a key role to effectively modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols and evaluate technical data and work instructions in support of Engineering and Operations teams.

• Identifies and manages risk utilizing and driving UPPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify risk in product development and propose risk management solutions.

• Conducts investigations, provides analysis and develops recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities.

• Reviews process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.

• Analyzes quality activities to identify systemic issues and enable development of specific quality initiative improvements and strategies

• Develops proactive quality initiative strategies and drives their implementation; performs Escape Management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action for internally produced products & processes.

• Support and promote a quality environment through compliance to the QMS and adherence to Quality Cardinal Rules.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in in a STEM field and 5 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, project management, quality or closely related industrial environment OR a Masters' Degree and minimum 3 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, project management, quality or closely related industrial environment

• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

• Experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously with ability to obtain, organize and analyze quality data

• Understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and Lean

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Engineering degree (aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, quality)

• Understanding of Pratt & Whitney's Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems and experience using CORE tools

• Experience with Solumina and SAP software

• Demonstrated effective root cause determination skills, Red-X, Fault Tree, etc.

• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements

• Experience establishing and maintaining a quality management system, preferably, AS9100
