What You Will Do:
The Senior Quality Engineer will play a key role to effectively modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols and evaluate technical data and work instructions in support of Engineering and Operations teams.
Identifies and manages risk utilizing and driving UPPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify risk in product development and propose risk management solutions.
Conducts investigations, provides analysis and develops recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities.
Reviews process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
Analyzes quality activities to identify systemic issues and enable development of specific quality initiative improvements and strategies
Develops proactive quality initiative strategies and drives their implementation; performs Escape Management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action for internally produced products & processes.
Support and promote a quality environment through compliance to the QMS and adherence to Quality Cardinal Rules.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree in in a STEM field and 5 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, project management, quality or closely related industrial environment OR a Masters' Degree and minimum 3 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, project management, quality or closely related industrial environment
Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously with ability to obtain, organize and analyze quality data
Understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and Lean

Qualifications We Prefer:
Engineering degree (aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, quality)
Understanding of Pratt & Whitney's Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems and experience using CORE tools
Experience with Solumina and SAP software
Demonstrated effective root cause determination skills, Red-X, Fault Tree, etc.
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings
Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements
Experience establishing and maintaining a quality management system, preferably, AS9100
