The Business Architecture Practice Lead will be the head of the Business Requirements Delivery team for the Global Business Architecture function at Everest. This team will have accountability to deliver detailed specifications for business systems supporting Reinsurance and Insurance. Additionally, the Practice lead will define, document, and then manage processes and responsibilities for the Business Analysis function.
The Practice Lead will work across the Reinsurance and Insurance business organizations, including Product Management, Underwriting, Actuarial, Operations, Compliance, Distribution, and Marketing to understand and drive requirements for Reinsurance and Insurance business systems. This role will closely collaborate with the IT teams supporting and implementing these business systems (e.g., UWS, Xuber, EZ Flow, and new systems like UW Workbench and Agent Portal).
The Practice Lead will be accountable for the quality and on-time delivery of Business Analysis artifacts and will be expected to foster and encourage a collaborative working environment across multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge and Skills
- At least 15 years’ experience working with complex Insurance Industry solutions and systems in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in developing processes supporting business analysis and requirements documentation. This would include development of processes and metrics to ensure adherence to standards and delivery of high-quality artifacts.
- Deep experience in technology project management.
- Experience and certification in Agile methodology processes, practices, and artifacts.
- Demonstrated experience in large technology implementation efforts.
- Strong ability to lead through influence.
- Demonstrated experience leading in large multi-disciplinary team environments.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Leadership and management of a Business Solution Analysis team.
