Work where your team values you! We’re hiring a Business Team Leader (Advanced Fabrics) in North America to support our pulp and paper team! The Business Team Leader will provide guidance, coaching and leadership to their US and Canadian Business Team to achieve profitable and sustainable growth.

BUSINESS TEAM LEADER SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drives safety culture to the Team on a consistent basis
• Provides strategic direction for the Team that is consistent with targets and communicates results and areas that need improvement
• Drives value and pricing opportunities
• Negotiates credits to a WIN/WIN resolution
• Actively participates in sales and service at accounts while leading the Midwest accounts
• Leads Sustainability, Code of Conduct, and Compliance efforts
• Assures clearly defined direction and individual accountability
• Establishes team member roles, responsibilities and sales growth targets
• Identify associate’s strengths and areas requiring improvement or behavior changes in order to meet or exceed business profit targets
BUSINESS TEAM LEADER REQUIREMENTS:
• 4 year degree or industry leadership
• 10 years in the paper industry; 2 years minimum in field sales
▪ Willing to travel 60% or more to customer sites and intercompany meetings/training
▪ Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
▪ Comply with AstenJohnson and customer mill safety requirements /policies
▪ Be able to lift up to 50 lbs, tolerate potential paper manufacturing process fumes, and other industrial conditions. This will require walking on slippery surfaces, climbing vertical ladders and climbing catwalk stairs while carrying equipment.
▪ Attend annual AstenJohnson safety training
▪ Exhibit conduct that will reflect the Company’s core values at all times
