Job Description

The Visual Manager partners with the store management team in driving store sales by offering outstanding customer service and persistent attention to detail on product presentation and maintaining product in-stock position.

Essential Functions

Customer Service/Sales

1. Consistently exceeds the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customer.
2. Listens to customers and uses their feedback to improve service levels in the store.
3. Achieves budget sales, payroll and inventory goals.
4. Analyzes sales trends and assists in developing floor & styling sets to maximize profits and minimize costs.
5. Executes merchandise standards, display guidelines, and floor changes as directed while meeting established timelines and due dates.
6. Resolves issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
7. Provides ongoing sales and product training for the staff to achieve sales goals.
8. In addition to assisting the Store Manager in the above tasks, your key responsibility will be to manage all aspects of visual merchandise coordination between the store and the support office.

Store Teams

1. Active in product knowledge training of the staff and encouraging a store environment where turnover is kept to a minimum.
2. Provides challenging goals and assignments to ensure all associates are trained and performing to company expectations
3. Motivates and develops associates by providing frequent developmental discussions, product training, sales and service techniques. Assists in writing store associate reviews.
4. Consistently demonstrate and uphold the Sundance culture with the utmost integrity.

Standards of Operations

1. Maintains disciplines for visual standards, store cleanliness.
2. Monitors inventory procedures, and sees that shrink goals are met.
3. Consistently enforces all company policies and procedures. Performs opening/closing procedures and ensures bank deposits are done daily.
4. Keeps open and responsive communication with Store Manager as well as the District Manager.
5. Effectively supervise all aspects of merchandise in the store, including in-stock position, tracking key item movement and executing visual merchandising directive.
6. Be actively engaged in store operations and maintain a positive energetic work environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field required, BS or BA preferred.
• 5 plus years retail management experience, including previous specialty retail visual management responsibilities.
• Experience with a premium brand retailer.
• Experience in an environment where customers service is highly regarded.

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is between $24-$26 per hour.
