Senior Creative Artworker (Linz, Austria)

<p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p><p>The Senior Creative Artworker will be responsible for the overall brand guardianship, design application, project management, production of marketing campaigns and retailer communications for a major global brand, from straightforward design, to artwork origination and amendments, plus adaptation and versioning of existing signed-off designs.<br/></p><p>Other functions will also include mentoring and guiding the local stakeholders and ensuring that the quality of the outputs is as expected and brand consistency is maintained.</p><ul> <li>Oversee, create, prepare and edit print-ready artwork across a range of media, including general print collateral (brochures, flyers, etc), press ads, POS and all types of advertising displays, digital and social media assets, and much more.</li> <li>Ensure the integrity of the original concept and brief.</li> <li>Understand and work within brand and corporate guidelines.</li> <li>Produce retouching of images and photography to a good level.</li> <li>Understand and apply color management principles in daily tasks.</li> <li>Use your experience and knowledge to identify and resolve design, artwork and production challenges.</li> <li>Complete all personal administration, including timesheets, accurately and promptly.</li> <li>Understand the company’s quality control process and systems, employing a methodical approach.</li> <li>Provide the business with best value by estimating and managing time accurately, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality.</li> </ul><ul> </ul><ul> </ul><p><strong>What you'll bring:</strong><br/></p><ul> </ul><ul> <li>Considerable experience as a design and production focused artworker, mainly with print items and renders.</li> <li>Extensive experience in loyally and accurately applying a design concept across a range of different media and formats.</li> <li>Agency, production agency and trade marketing experience preferred.</li> <li>Experience in dealing directly with clients is required.</li> <li>In-depth expertise of Adobe Creative Suite.</li> <li>Advanced 3D rendering skills to create POS items (FSDU, Display, Totems, etc.)</li> <li>High level of pre-press knowledge is a must.</li> <li>Video editing and motion graphics is a plus.</li> <li>General automated artwork production and template building experience.</li> <li>Familiarity with both agency and wider marketing technology systems such as DAM, ad delivery platforms, approval/sign off tools, and collaborative and production workflows.<br/>• Straightforward design, typographical and layout skills</li> <li>Pre-flight and proofing background.</li> <li>High understanding of print materials, die-cuts.</li> <li>Photoshop and image retouching skills</li> <li>Understanding of color management.</li> <li>Excellent core Microsoft computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Fluent in German and English.</li> </ul><p><strong>The softer skills that we believe, will help you thrive in this role:</strong><br/></p><ul> <li>A clear and effective communication skill at all levels in the hierarchy.</li> <li>A solution orientated and resolutive mindset, where problems are just the start lane for the solutions.</li> <li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li> <li>A technology oriented mindset, as you will have to use different technologies in your daily job</li> <li>Being meticulous, and have a keen eye for detail, setting very high personal standard.</li> <li>Being proactive and positive, being motivated by the prospect of being challenged, always looking to make a positive impact.<br/>• Desire to take responsibility for continuous personal development and learning, helping to identify objectives and opportunities for skill development.</li> </ul><p><strong>Role Requirements:</strong></p><p>This role can be based on a hybrid basis (several times a week from the client office in Linz).<br/><em><br/></em></p><p><em>The minimum gross monthly salary for this position according to the applicable collective bargaining agreement is EUR 2802,50 (full-time basis).
