Operates with supervision from higher level project managers or direct manager. Stakeholders would typically be within one function or SBU when leading their own workstream.</span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span>Accountable to deliver business case of assigned projects within their defined responsibility in line with project assumptions.</span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span>Ensure all projects assigned align with Business Unit Strategies and the Strategic Road Map. Communicate as needed to keep the project aligned with the changing needs of the business.</span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span>Manage or support the individual projects with project management discipline and attention to all key areas including but not limited to stakeholder, scope, cost, and time management.</span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span>Manage assigned project resources – which can be full time, part-time, or contract team members - to work together as a highly effective team to deliver the objectives of the project and thus the business results.</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span>Primary Duties/Responsibilities</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span>The Project Specialist should assist the Project Manager with managing uncertainties on the project with appropriate contingency and mitigation plans. This may include documenting and maintaining Risk &amp; Issues of the project.</span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span>Works with assigned project team members and contributors to successfully contribute to the creation of the project plan. Support planning with sufficient detail to enable resource estimation. Work in concert with Project Manager to facilitate agreement on high level project goals being addressed, as well as key measures of success.</span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span>Ensure project communications support successful completion by including proper stakeholder analysis, communication planning, organizational change management analysis and planning as required. Ensure lessons learned are documented and routed to appropriate functional and project management office groups for dissemination.</span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span>Assist the Project Manager to monitor and control the project throughout it's life cycle. Maintain the project plan or a portion of the project plan to help ensure project success.
