Mindex’s Software Development division is the go-to software developer for enterprise organizations looking to engage teams of skilled technical resources to help them plan, navigate, and execute through the full software development lifecycle.

The Sr. Business Analyst provides cross-functional domain knowledge with a primary focus on manufacturing and finance processes. The Sr. Business Analyst works closely with subject matter experts and application developers to gather and document solutions requirements, document functional solutions, map and gap requirements to standard system functionality, and assist with end-to-end testing. The ERP solution will be a key concentration area for the Sr. Business Analyst. A continuous development mindset is a strong plus.

Essential Functions

  • Gathers and analyzes requirements for complex projects using strategies which includes interviews and observations, workshops, and documents.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the body of work, partners with the team and project stakeholders to elaborate clear solution requirements.
  • Ability to utilize technical skills (i.e. development, training, etc.) to assist the team and analysis practices.
  • Partner with PO throughout SDLC to ensure there is shared understanding between the team and project stakeholders.
  • Evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and facilitates consensus between stakeholder groups.
  • Works with Product Owner to ensure product backlog and project requirements are aligned and sprint metrics are achieved.
  • Represents Product Owner on project teams as the Decision Maker to assist in answering questions and to provide direction to project agile teams.
  • Ability to utilize skillset for context switching within multiple product solutions
  • Demonstrates the ability to use graphical representation to augment textual requirements such as diagrams, models, workflow diagrams, and story maps.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Business, Communications, or related area preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two+ years of Business Analysis experience
  • Preferred knowledge in any of the following areas: basic data analysis, public speaking, agile methodologies, software delivery life cycle (SDLC).

The band range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, education, experience, training, certifications, internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role; and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range for this role is $70,000 - $120,000.
