Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Prototyping Analyst to support a defense client. The successful candidate will work with an integrated team to complete the following tasks:

Responsibilities:

• Help the government client build and oversee a portfolio of small innovative prototyping efforts
• Represent the government client in engagements with industry, service labs, FFRDCs and other innovation centers.  Candidate will be responsible for understanding and communicating proposed efforts to the client including, technical details, proposed impact, transition pathways, schedule, and cost
• Work with performers to refine project plans and help communicate impact of prototyping efforts
• Assess proposed efforts and make recommendations to government client in support of funding decisions
• Support financial managers with the preparation and execution of funding documents, interagency agreements, MOUs, or any other necessary project paperwork
• Work with selected projects to capture status, address variations in project plan, and help maximize impact leading to successful transition
• Track project execution to support financial and programmatic status updates including Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) obligation and expenditure benchmarks
• Attend conferences and industry engagements and scout for innovative solutions to OSD needs
• Capture success stories and provide executive summaries featuring the prototyping portfolio
• Support office taskers as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience supporting research, development, test, and engineering projects
• TS Clearance Required, SCI Preferred 
• Masters required in relevant Science, Technology, Engineering or Math Discipline
• Expertise in assessing emerging technology and national security implications
• Strong technical background with experience in multiple disciplines
• Exceedingly organized and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft 365, presentation, and research skills (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Zoom)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism
• Demonstrates ability to use logic to collect, evaluate and synthesize multiple sources of information, e.g., articles and research papers
