About the role 

We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PHP, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. This role will involve working closely with the client’s development team to build and maintain WordPress websites, implement custom functionalities, and ensure high performance and reliability. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins using PHP, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. 
• Customize and extend WordPress functionalities to meet client requirements and project specifications. 
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement responsive and visually appealing web designs. 
• Optimize website performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices. 
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress development, including compatibility issues, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks. 
• Stay current with WordPress best practices, trends, and updates, and apply them to improve development processes and outcomes. 
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team. 
• Communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide status updates. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development, with proficiency in PHP, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. 
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and customization options. 
• Experience with responsive web design principles and mobile-first development practices. 
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and tools. 
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
