Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our Corporate GenAI team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data interpretation, visualization techniques, and the ability to deliver actionable insights. This role involves designing and developing BI solutions, data models, and KPI measures to solve business problems. The Data and Analytics Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the usability and effectiveness of data visualizations and will also integrate solutions with the Power Platform. You will also have an opportunity to work on Corporate GenAI and Automation projects.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, transform, and interpret raw data from various sources to develop BI solutions.
• Visualization Design: Create user-friendly, intuitive visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and D3.JS, ensuring they effectively convey the intended message.
• Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports, ensuring they meet user requirements and provide accurate, up-to-date insights.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance data processing speeds, improve query performance, and refine data models to ensure efficient and timely data retrieval and analysis.
• Data Security: Implement data security measures, comply with relevant regulations, and ensure the security of data and BI solutions.
• API Integration: Develop and integrate BI solutions with API’s via RestFul Web Services to ensure seamless data exchange and interaction with source systems.
• Integration with Power Platform: Develop and integrate BI solutions with the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents, to enhance data analysis, visualization, and process automation capabilities.

Technical Skills:

• Data Visualization Tools: Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI
• Advanced SQL: Expertise in SQL, including queries, joins, stored procedures, triggers, and views, with experience in optimizing SQL for performance and efficiency.
• Data Transformation: Proficiency in LOD (Level of Detail), DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query, M language, and Tableau Prep.
• Database Interaction: Experience with data warehouses and data lakes, utilizing tools like Microsoft SQSL Server, PySpark, Azure Data Lake Storage etc.
• Power Platform: Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.
