Job Overview
Effectively lead HR team in with full cycle recruitment, benefits, employee/labor relations, and training functions. This position is essential in supporting the business by collaborating with the management team to staff the organization with qualified candidates, reduce turnover, improve organizational effectiveness, and resolve both strategic and day-to-day employee/labor issues.
A Day In The Life
Effectively lead and manage the HR function
Responsible for interpreting and ensuring compliance with all policies, company processes, and
state/federal employment law
Positively influence the leadership team on HR initiatives and effectively communicate with all levels of employees
Provide leadership in all areas of the HR function:
Labor Relations
Performance Management
Compensation and Benefits administration
Recruiting
Onboarding
Retention
Engagement & Positive Employee Relations
Communications
Leave of Absence
Diversity and Inclusion
Unemployment
Assisting in HRIS transactions
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree required. MS or MBA is a plus
- 5-7 years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing role
- Experience in Employee Relations, including grievance, disciplinary, dismissal etc.
- Experience with contract negotiations and administration of collective bargaining agreements
- Strong computer experience required, Microsoft Suite, SAP-SuccessFactors and or ADP experience a plus
- Influential leader and strategic problem solver
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus
