Job Description

This role can be based in our San Francisco, Sunnyvale, or New York, NY office.

The LinkedIn Monetization Strategy team is looking for an Associate Manager of Monetization Strategy to help accelerate growth and improve go-to-market strategy for our Talent Solutions Business (~$5B+ in Revenue). This individual will create financial models to develop business cases for new monetization strategies, analyze trends to improve existing strategies, and measure the impact of ongoing programs. By partnering with leaders in our marketing, sales, and product organizations, this role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth through global, cross-business line, cross-channel, and cross-product initiatives. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Create analyses to highlight opportunities and strategies to grow our business

  • Build and maintain financial models for annual and long-range planning process and serve as planning and performance subject matter expert

  • Analyze and track performance of commercial model initiatives and provide insights and recommendations to improve programs, influence strategy, prioritization and processes.  

  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Finance, and Business Operations to investigate trends and synthesize analysis. 

  • Develop process foundations to improve planning, reporting and forecasting 

  • Measure and track monetization performance to enable continuous improvements to our pricing and packaging.  

  • Support and drive sub-workstreams of pricing and packaging strategy initiatives 

  • Create and maintain performance dashboards 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 1+ years of experience in Pricing, Business Analytics, Business Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, or Go-To-Market Strategy or similar experience in analytical role. 

  • Experience running and building SQL analyses 

  • Experience building financial models in Excel

  • Ability to leverage numbers and insights to influence & drive sound decision making

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, “get it done” entrepreneurial environment.  

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills; ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis 

  • Experience with strategy or financial planning, preferably in the enterprise software/SaaS space

  • Experience with Tableau or similar tools

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.   

The pay range for this role is $89,000-$132,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
