This is a hybrid role that can be based in any of our three hub locations:

  • The Target Pay Range for this position in Loveland, CO is $154,990 - $192,465 annually.

  • The Target Pay Range for this position in NYC is $164,335- $205,390 annually.

  • The Target Pay Range for this position in Fountain Valley, CA is $157,190 – $196,460 annually.

At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

PURPOSE OF JOB: 

The Senior IT Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT programs within Antech Diagnostics, part of the Mars Petcare Science and Diagnostics (SDx) division. They will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed successfully, on time, and within budget while meeting the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:      

  • Develops a comprehensive program plan, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements based on the needs of our Global Reference Lab line of business.

  • Identifies and engages key stakeholders, such as project sponsors, business owners, cross-functional teams, and external vendors, to ensure alignment and support for the program.

  • Defines and manages the program budget, including tracking and reporting on expenditures. Allocate and optimize resources to achieve program goals.

  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues that may impact the program's success. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

  • Establish a governance structure to facilitate decision-making, issue escalation, and communication across program stakeholders. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.

  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of product owners, technical specialists, and other resources. Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.

  • Monitors and tracks program progress, ensuring that projects are executed according to plan. Identify and resolve conflicts, dependencies, and bottlenecks that may impede progress.

  • Regularly communicates program status, updates, and risks to senior management, stakeholders, and project teams. Prepare and present reports, presentations, and dashboards as required.

  • Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for program deliverables. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support the successful adoption and integration of program deliverables within the organization.

  • Conduct post-program evaluations to capture lessons learned and best practices. Apply insights to future programs and initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to improve program management processes, tools, and methodologies. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with business/technical degree preferred in a science, technical, or engineering domain or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Program Manager, overseeing large-scale IT programs or projects.

  • Experience leading business process design and improvement in the scope of large systems implementation, preferably in a laboratory, clinical bioinformatics environment (LIMS/ Analytical Software).  

  • 8+ years of experience working in a cross-functional team environment with a track record of being a part of software projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
