Job Description
An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Associate Scientist supporting High Potency API Project. The role will initially be to support the qualification of the High Potency API laboratory instruments, systems and Laboratory setup and subsequently taking on the role of a Laboratory Analyst within the High Potency Laboratory facility.
What you will do:
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:
- Support the Qualification, documentation and release of new Instruments in High Potency facility.
- Support the development of training material and the of new personnel in the High Potency laboratory under the supervision of the Laboratory Leader or designate.
- The role will require the development and generation of SOP’s and laboratory practices for High Potency Laboratory.
- Once the laboratory is operational, the analyst will move into a role supporting testing of High Potency materials in a controlled laboratory environment.
- Test Raw Materials, Intermediates, Drug Substance, Drug products in accordance with Quality Standard and/or other approved protocols including in a High Potency Laboratory.
- Support the development and testing of cleaning methods.
- Complete the investigation of laboratory deviations in line with site and divisional procedures.
- Identify and aid resolution of analytical issues within the IPT laboratory.
- In partnership with the Quality organization, develops and continually updates appropriate GMP procedures for the completion of analytical testing and review of data.
What skills you will need:
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
- Minimum of BSc in Chemistry or related discipline
- Preferred: Experience in High Potency Laboratory, HPLC analysis, GC Analysis
- Have knowledge of GMP standards
- Have knowledge Laboratory safety standards.
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
