Position Description:
Utilizes modern Java frameworks to design and implement REST API for clients and services. Supports existing solutions and builds new ones. Writes automated unit and integration tests in addition to consolidating software using containers. Coordinates pipelines development using Continuous Integration (CI) methodologies. Contributes to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of products and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms. Develops custom solutions using Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, triggers, controllers, and test classes to meet the specific requirements of various projects. Implements advanced querying techniques to efficiently retrieve and manipulate data with Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL), Salesforce Application Programming Interface (API) integration, and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL).
Primary Responsibilities:
Builds secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based microservices.
Implements Salesforce CRM capabilities and other technologies to empower productivity for customer retention.
Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Develops software system tests or validation procedures, programs, or documentation.
Modifies existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
Consults with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance.
Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan computer software specifications on major projects and proposes modifications and improvements based on user need.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Digital Assets Engineer (or closely related occupation) developing algorithms and data structures to analyze complex systems and implement effective solutions, using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) -- for Cloud Computing and Machine Learning (ML) -- in a financial services environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Digital Assets Engineer (or closely related occupation) developing algorithms and data structures to analyze complex systems and implement effective solutions, using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) -- for Cloud Computing and Machine Learning (ML) -- in a financial services environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) gathering business requirements and designing custom Salesforce solutions in Salesforce platforms – Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Platform – including writing Apex triggers, creating and deploying web and aura components, and designing custom Visualforce based solutions using Visual Studio Code, Developer Console, and Salesforce CLI tools.
DE configuring Salesforce.com and writing database queries and scripts on SOQL or SOSL databases to extract, manipulate, and save data using workbench, SOQL builder, and Data Loader.
