Senior Financial Analyst (Hybrid Role)

As a Senior Financial Analyst at KCH Transportation, you’ll be a key partner in shaping the company’s financial direction. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead complex analyses, build strategic financial models, and deliver insights that drive decision-making across multiple business units. You’ll collaborate with leadership to evaluate performance, optimize operations, and identify growth opportunities that strengthen KCH’s position in the logistics and transportation industry.

Day-to-Day:

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic initiatives.

• Build and enhance detailed financial models to project revenue, margin, and cash flow scenarios.

• Analyze business performance and present actionable recommendations to executive leadership.

• Drive monthly and quarterly reporting, including variance, trend, and margin analyses.

• Support budgeting and long-range planning processes with data-driven insights.

• Evaluate ROI, cost structures, and profitability of business units and new initiatives.

• Conduct market benchmarking and competitive analysis to support strategic positioning.

• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems such as NetSuite, Excel, and Tableau.

• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Accounting to ensure financial alignment.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required.

• 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or business finance.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to influence decision-making.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite and Tableau strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating data into clear insights.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
