External Reporting & Technical Acconting Reporting

Job Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Director of External Reporting & Technical Accounting, this position will interface with many corporate and operational finance teams, as well as our external auditors. Primary SEC reporting responsibilities include a combination of preparation and review of 10-Q and 10-K filings, as well as quarterly earnings releases. Primary technical accounting responsibilities include analyzing accounting issues and providing guidance to members of the finance organization, reviewing significant contracts, non-standard transactions and emerging GAAP for accounting implications, writing accounting position memos, supporting lease accounting activities, and overseeing the Company’s corporate accounting policies.

Job Description:

• Prepare and review financial filings (10-Q and 10-K)

• Research and draft disclosures

• Assist in preparing quarterly reports (8-K) and earnings releases

• Provide accounting guidance for business transactions

• Conduct research on complex accounting issues

• Prepare accounting memos for auditors

• Monitor and implement new accounting standards

• Support lease accounting activities

• Assist with accounting processes

• Support compliance activities

Job Requirements:

• Experienced in reviewing and preparing 10-Qs and 10-Ks
• Proficient in researching and applying GAAP accounting rules
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Capable of making judgment calls on accounting/reporting issues
• Excellent writing skills for SEC reporting disclosures and accounting memos
• Effective prioritization in deadline-driven environments
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong organizational skills and process-oriented mindset
• Skilled in driving process improvements and automation

Education:

• 12 years in Accounting / Finance roles (with minimum 4 years Big 4 experience preferred)
• Technical accounting and SEC reporting knowledge
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA
