As a Private Banker in the International Private Bank’s Global Families Group, you will advise complex, cross-border clients on building, preserving, and managing their wealth across multiple jurisdictions. You will leverage your expertise in investments, financial planning, credit, and banking to provide holistic, balance sheet advice—and drive new client acquisition—while coordinating across multi-asset investing, customized lending, cross-border wealth planning, fiduciary services, banking, philanthropic advisory, and family office support. You will be part of a local team based in New York or San Francisco and be supported by an institutional platform with the resources, specialists, and intellectual capital to help clients achieve their global goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and deepen relationships with UHNW/HNW families by earning trust, thoroughly understanding multi-jurisdiction needs, providing targeted advice, developing thoughtful solutions, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Generate business results and acquire new assets and relationships across international networks; drive net new AUM, inflows, and ROA from both existing and new clients.
Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including strategic asset allocation, investment management, cross-border wealth planning, customized credit and lending (including multi-currency and leverage where appropriate), and day-to-day banking.
Partner with internal specialists—Investment Solutions, Lending, Wealth Planning, Trust & Fiduciary, Banking, and Family Office—to deliver integrated, cross-disciplinary solutions.
Connect clients to J.P. Morgan’s full capabilities across lines of business where appropriate.
Ensure proposed solutions meet clients’ short-, medium-, and long-term objectives using a holistic, goals-based planning framework, mindful of cross-border considerations.
Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, KYC/AML and cross-border rules, regulatory guidelines, suitability standards, and security measures.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Three plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services serving HNW/UHNW or institutional clients.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
